Final day of festivities at Dover Park
DIEPPE (N.B.) — Tomorrow is the final day of activities for the 9th edition of Dieppe KITE International. Again this year, the festival has been a success.
Here’s the schedule of events for Sunday:
11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Artisans’ Fair open
12 p.m.
Performance by DNA dance group presented by Dr. Martin Orthodontist - $2 children (12 and under), $3 adults (13 and over)
1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Dr. Martin Orthodontist Community Zone open (inflatable games)
Day pass: $7
Individual tickets: $2
1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Kite demonstrations (one-line, acrobatic, inflatable, creations and free flight)
1 p.m.
Exhibit tent opens – See the kites from the creation contest (“solar system” theme)
Concert by OldSchool presented by Dr. Martin Orthodontist - $2 children (12 and under), $3 adults (13 and over)
1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Atlantic Superstore’s kite-making tent (Passports available here)
2 p.m.
Running of the Bols and mini Rokkaku combats for children
Kite creation contest winner announced
3 p.m.
Acrobatic kite group flight (more than a dozen kites)
