New committee established

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that council has established a new Advisory Committee on Strategy and Public Policy.

The committee’s mandate will be to offer a public forum for presentations coming from staff, community groups and others on various subjects related to major municipal issues. The committee is made up of members of city council.

The creation of this committee will also provide an opportunity for city councillors to study issues more closely before being brought forward for debate at public meetings of council.

The new committee’s first meeting will be held on Monday, January 21, at 5:15 p.m., in council chambers. Subsequently, the committee will meet on the third Monday of every month.
