Aerobics classes for adults aged 50+
DIEPPE, N.B. — A new aerobics program for adults aged 50+ has been launched in Dieppe. Classes will take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. at Rotary St-Anselme Park’s Rotary Pavilion. Cost per session is $3.
Classes will include a warm-up period, weights, stretching and a cardiovascular routine.
“No matter your age, physical activity is essential,” says Gabrielle Maillet, Community Officer with the City of Dieppe. “This is why we are offering fitness classes aimed at those aged 50 and older. Sessions will be supervised by an instructor, take place three times per week and include progressive and diversified content.”
Participants may bring their own yoga mat and weights (3 or 5 lb), however these will also be available on site free of charge.
Classes begin Tuesday, October 7, and will continue until Thursday, December 18, when they will break for the Christmas holidays. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 6.
