Changes to garbage collection during the holiday season and Christmas tree pickup

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents of the following changes to regular garbage collection during the holiday season.

If your usual garbage day is Wednesday, your garbage will be picked up on the following days:

• Saturday, December 28, instead of Wednesday, December 25
• Saturday, January 4, instead of Wednesday, January 1

Please note: place your garbage at the curb at 6 p.m. on the night before pickup at the earliest, or by 4 a.m. on the pickup day at the latest.

For the Christmas tree pickup (natural trees only) for households with regular weekly garbage collection on:

• Tuesday, the trees must be placed at the curb no later than 4 a.m.  on Tuesday, January 7
• Wednesday, the trees must be placed at the curb no later than  4 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8
• Friday, the trees must be placed at the curb no later than 4 a.m. on Friday, January 10

Trees must not be frozen in the snow bank and must be free of tinsel and ornaments.

Trees placed after 4 a.m. on the morning of your regular pickup risk not being collected.
