Important changes coming to waste collection
Please note that during the week of June 27 to July 1, residents must follow the current garbage collection schedule. During the week of July 4 to 8, residents must follow the new map.
DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to inform residents of important changes to garbage collection that will take effect on July 1, 2022. Collection will be reduced to three days a week, i.e., Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, instead of the current four. The attached map indicates the new collection days.
In addition, there will no longer be special collections in the fall or spring. Instead, residents will be able to place one bulky item at the curb on weeks when clear bags are collected. This change will allow people to dispose of their bulky waste more frequently rather than having to wait for a specific time.
A reminder that residents must ensure that their garbage is placed at the curb no earlier than 6 p.m. on the evening before the scheduled pick-up day, and no later than 4 a.m. on the scheduled pick-up day.
