Back to SearchDIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that the boil water order is lifted for properties located from 2152 and 2135, Amirault to 2685 Amirault, at 16 and 19 Léonide, from 301 to 818 Dover, for all properties located in the Domaine Dover Estates and for all properties located on Freda, Marco, Kristian, J.-F. Bourgeois, Vézina, Raphaël, Joanne, Carter and Bayview streets.
Here are the measures to take when a boil water order has been lifted:
- Cold interior and exterior water faucets: Run tap water for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Hot water faucets: Run tap water for at least 15 minutes for a 40-gallon hot water tank and at least 30 minutes for a 80-gallon hot water tank or larger.
- Water dispensers from refrigerators should be flushed with at least one litre of water before consumption.
- After flushing hot and cold water pipes, run dishwasher empty one time.
- Discard any water used in humidifiers and rinse the device with clean water.
- Automatic ice dispensers should be emptied of ice made during the boil water order. Then, discard any ice made over an additional 24-hour period to assure that any potential contaminated water has been discarded.
