Interesting activities for seniors taking place in Dieppe
DIEPPE, N.B. — The Seniors in Motion Program continues in Dieppe throughout 2013 with a number of interesting activities geared toward those 50 years of age and older. The program encourages active living through wellness activities and social outings.
Beginning next week, the program will offer a line dancing course with a professional instructor every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Rotary St-Anselme Park at a cost of $2 per session, as well as Zumba sessions every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at a cost of $3 per session.
Online registration is now available at dieppe.ca for those with a profile number. Registration is also be accepted by telephone at 877.5023.
“From January 17 to May 30, quilters will be kept busy with a workshop at the Arts and Culture Centre at a cost of $40 for 20 sessions,” said Gabrielle Maillet, community officer responsible for seniors and families with the City of Dieppe. “There will also be card games at M.I.C. Restaurant held on the last Monday of each month from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.”

An approximately two-kilometre winter hike along the trails begins at 10 a.m. Dress warmly and invite your friends! Free
