National Public Works Week 2014
DIEPPE, N.B. – The City of Dieppe will be taking part once again this year in National Public Works Week from May 18-24, under this year’s theme “Building for Today, Planning for Tomorrow”.
This week highlights the importance of the work done by the City of Dieppe’s Public Works and Engineering Department employees and the impact this work has on the daily quality of life for all residents.
Activities planned throughout the week include:
- Saturday, May 17: Heavy equipment display at the Dieppe Market;
- May 20-23: Exhibit in the foyer of city hall and machines outside;
- Wednesday, May 21: Open House visit at the Operations Centre, 100 Rufin Street, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Everyone welcome and it’s free!
- During the week: Visit of grade two students from École Amirault to the water tower and visits at the Operation Centre for daycares.
