Aquatic and Sports Centre reopening
Good news! The Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre will be ready to welcome you as of Monday, July 6. All necessary measures to keep you and our employees safe are in place. We are going to have a phased reopening over the next few months, starting with lap swims only. It is important to note that the Aquatic Centre will only be accessible by reservation. Reservations may be made online or by telephone. Visit dieppe.ca for the full schedule.
Please note:
- Each reservation will be for a maximum of 45 minutes.
- Each swimmer will be entitled to a maximum of three reservations per week to start. These numbers may be reassessed after a few weeks.
- Reservations can be made no farther than two weeks in advance.
- Reservation fees must be paid or verified at the reception desk.
- If you prefer a certain lane, please tell us. We will take your preference into consideration as much as possible.

Reservations and profile number
You need a profile number in order to make a reservation (online and by telephone). Members who already have a profile number will be advised by email shortly. If you don’t receive an email by Thursday, July 2, please contact the Aquatic Centre to make sure that your email address on file is correct.

New procedure for your swim
- Before coming to swim, each client is asked to self-screen for the symptoms indicated by New Brunswick Public Health.
- Please arrive wearing your bathing suit under your clothes. The dressing rooms will not be accessible before your swim.
- You are asked to arrive 10 minutes before your reserved swim time.
- Active screening (taking body temperature, screening questions and information for the registry) will be done upon entering the building.
- When you arrive, you will be asked to disinfect your hands and then go to the reception desk to confirm your reservation.
- A lifeguard will guide you to the pool.
- You must shower before you swim.
- It is important that you comply with the maximum of 45 minutes of swimming.
- If you want to use the sauna, this time is to be included in your total reservation time.
- Only one person is allowed in the sauna at a time.
- No equipment can be loaned and you must bring your own. You can also buy certain items at the reception desk.
- At the end of your swim, you will have access to the dressing room for a maximum of 15 minutes.
Other programming coming
In future phases of opening, we will continue adding other types of programming, based on the modifications that have to be made for the safety of our users. Aquatic activities, pre-school swim, private rentals and private and group swim classes will be added by fall.
