On the lookout for young athletes
DIEPPE, N.B. — Children from 6 to 11 years of age are invited to take part in the 12 Challenges activity at École Anna-Malenfant’s track and field in Dieppe.
The sport challenge activity will place over four Tuesday evenings on May 7, 14, 21 and 28.
Three different athletics challenges will take place each week, including sprint, steeplechase, cross-country, shot put, discus throw, javelin throw, long jump, high jump, triple jump, relay, standing long jump and agility games.
Children from kindergarten to grade two will take on their challenges from 6 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. while those from grades three to six will take to the field from 7 p.m. to 7:50 p.m.
Registration is required at trackiereg.ca and runs from Friday, April 12, until Wednesday, May 1. Cost of $25.
