Open House at the Dieppe Fire Department
The City of Dieppe’s Fire Department invites everyone to its Open House, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, at Firehouse 1, located at 500 Gauvin Road.
The day is part of Fire Prevention Week, which will be held this year under the theme of LOOK. LISTEN. LEARN. Pay attention. A fire can break out at any time. Fire department employees will review good practices to use daily with respect to fire hazards.
There will be inflatable play structures, face painting, guided visits of the firehouse and a display of emergency vehicles. The public will also be able to test out the fire hoses and enjoy a community BBQ benefitting the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada.
Each year, Fire Prevention Week is organized in several of the nation’s municipalities with its mission being to make the public aware of the importance of fire safety.
