Intersection closed - Champlain Street/Dieppe Boulevard
DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that the intersection of Champlain Street and Dieppe Boulevard will be closed intermittently because of asphalt work on Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20, weather permitting.
This work is to proceed with the paving of the first layer of asphalt. The remainder of the road construction work on Champlain Street and Dieppe Boulevard will continue until the end of October and will include the final layer of asphalt and markings.
The closure of the intersection will result in major traffic delays, so it is strongly recommended that motorists leave earlier or use alternate routes. As well, other main arteries may experience heavier than normal traffic since they will be absorbing the surplus of vehicles using alternate routes. Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.
Please note that all businesses will remain accessible.
The City regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your patience and co-operation while this work is being done.
