COVID-19 - Important message from the Planning and Development Department
IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
Despite the current situation surrounding COVID-19, most of the activities of the Planning and Development Department of the City of Dieppe continue. However, please note some changes to the procedures.
The option of making in-person applications or payments at City Hall is no longer possible, and this, for an indeterminate period.
It is therefore best to email your request and documentation to construction@dieppe.ca along with the project information (project description, estimated cost of work, project address, name and contact information, as well as name and contact information of persons associated with the project, such as the contractor or consultant) for:
- building and development permit applications
- property search requests
- zoning certificate requests
- adjustment requests
- subdivision plans
- other development or construction questions or enquiries
If necessary, an agent from the Planning and Development Department will advise you if paper documentation must be submitted (e.g. subdivision plans, documents to be approved).
Payment methods
- By phone (Visa/MasterCard/American Express) at 506.877.6753. If no agent is available to process your payment, please leave a voicemail message with your contact information. An agent will contact you within 12 business hours. It is very important that you do not leave your credit card information in your message.
- You can also send a cheque addressed to the CITY OF DIEPPE by mail (City of Dieppe – Planning and Development Department / 333 Acadie Avenue, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G9).
Please make sure you have your reference number and type of document on hand in order for us to be able to process the payment.
Inspections
If applicable, please send your inspection requests preferably by email (construction@dieppe.ca) or by phone (506.877.5025). An inspector will contact you to schedule the date and time as well as the conditions of the inspection.
