Celebration during Heritage Week

The City of Dieppe invites resident to New Brunswick Heritage Week celebrations taking place from February 10-17. This year’s theme is New Brunswick Remembers (1914-2014), marking the 100^th anniversary of the First World War and the 75^th anniversary of the Second World War.

To celebrate Heritage week and its significant anniversary dates, the following events will be taking place:

-        Monday, February 10 at 11 a.m.: wreath-laying ceremony at Place 1604 attended by the Mayor and the Dieppe Veterans Association;

-        Sunday, February 16 at 2:30 p.m.: Heritage Week comes to a close at the Arthur-J.-LeBlanc Centre when Nils Liljemark, President of the Dieppe Veterans Association, drops the ceremonial first puck at the hockey game between the Dieppe Commandos and Campbellton Tigers.
