Dieppe is proud to be the largest Acadian city in the world.
That's why we're marking the International Francophonie Day with a series of activities taking place in Dieppe throughout the week, from March 16 to 22, 2025, to celebrate the French language.
Antonine Maillet, 1929-2025
This year we lost a legend of the French language. We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Antonine Maillet. An Acadian woman, a committed Francophone, a powerful voice for our nation. L’Acadie has a new star, and she will forever shine in the hearts of those she touched.

Hosted by Ben à Bélonie and Mélodie, the exhibition will feature monologues from La Sagouine, with characters interpreted by Luc LeBlanc, Mélanie LeBlanc, Marc-André Robichaud, Nora Hébert and Christian Kit Goguen, accompanied by musicians Mario and Joël Robichaud.
