Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre Refund Policy
Less than 48 hours after registration
- Multiple registrations on the same profile or registration system anomalies. There is no administrative fee for reimbursing duplicate activities.
- Refunds can be issued, with a $20 administrative fee.
- Registration fees can be transferred if there is space at the appropriate level in another group with no administrative fee charged. If there is a waiting list, the client will be refunded with a $20 administrative fee withheld and added to the waiting list.
48 hours or more after registration
- Refunds can be issued, with a $20 administrative fee.

Seven days or less before the start of the session
- No refunds are allowed, subject to this policy.
- Registration fees can be transferred if there is space at the appropriate level in another group with no administrative fee charged. If there is a waiting list, the client will be added to the waiting list with no refund.
Once an activity has started
- No refunds or transfers are permitted.
Reimbursement for medical reasons
If a registrant becomes permanently unable to participate in an activity and presents a medical certificate confirming this, a refund based on the number of remaining classes will be issued. The $20 administrative fee does not apply in this case. If the activity has not yet started, a full refund of the registration fee will be issued. A signed doctor’s note is required.
Missed classes
Participants who miss classes are not eligible for a refund, credit or replacement of those classes. Make-up classes in another group are not allowed.
Activity cancellation
If the Centre changes the conditions of an activity or cancels a course prior to the start of the session, a full refund will be issued.
Removal for disciplinary reasons
If the Centre removes a participant for disciplinary reasons, no refunds will be issued and no course transfers will be permitted.
Group changes
The Centre reserves the right to change groups, levels and activities up to the third session.
Water safety
The onus is on parents to choose the right activity and/or level for their children. The Centre offers free evaluations before all sessions. If the wrong activity and/or level is chosen, the refund policy applies. If a participant is removed from an activity by the Centre for water safety-related reasons, no refunds will be issued. Registration fees will be transferred at no cost if there is space in another group at the appropriate level.
Administrative fee
The administrative fee is $20. This fee will only be charged once if there are multiple refunds to be issued for the same family within the same transaction.
There is no administrative fee for course transfers.
