Please be advised that there will be a regular Council meeting on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 7 p.m., which can only be seen and heard on the City’s website due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Council members and staff participating remotely will use electronic means of communication. The meeting agenda is available here.

With temperatures dropping over the next few hours, please note that despite our ice removal efforts, streets and sidewalks may be slippery.
Our teams are currently busy spreading salt and sand on the streets, parking lots, sidewalks and trails.
We advise residents to exercise caution over the next few days.
Launch of Public Consultation on Tree Code for Dieppe

The City of Dieppe is looking to increase the number of trees in the municipality. Expanding the urban forest is a winning approach and concept for many green cities around the world.
For help in achieving this goal, the municipality has hired a consultant, Bruno Chicoine, who is proposing three main strategies: regulations involving tree-cutting permits, a tree survey to identify and assess existing trees, and measures aimed at protecting trees.

Level 3 of COVID-19 Winter Plan: Closure of Indoor Recreational Facilities

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre, the UNIplex, the Arthur-J.-LeBlanc Centre, the Rotary Pavilion and City Hall will be closed to the public as of 11:59 p.m. tonight, Friday, January 14.
These closures are necessary due to the transition to Level 3 of the Province’s COVID-19 Winter Plan. The facilities should reopen on January 31 unless the Province advises otherwise.

DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that non-essential services will be suspended as of noon today due to weather conditions. City Hall and recreational facilities (Aquatic Centre, AJL arena, UNIplex, Rotary Pavilion, skating oval, etc.), will be closed.
