Chartersville Road Closure

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Chartersville Road, between Lorette and Therrien streets, will be completely closed to traffic on Monday, October 25 and Tuesday, October 26. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following day.
This closure is necessary in order to allow for the installation of a water main.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.
The City regrets any inconvenience this work...

Please be advised that there will be a regular Council meeting on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 7 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, which can also be seen and heard on the City’s website. Council members and staff participating remotely will use electronic means of communication. The meeting agenda is available here.
Lane reductions throughout the municipality

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be lane reductions in the following areas from Friday, October 22 to Friday, October 29.
- Dieppe Boulevard, between Champlain Street and Canaan Drive
- Dieppe Boulevard, between Melanson Road and Belle-Forêt Street
- Fox Creek Road, between Melanson Road and Amirault Street
- Thomas Street, between Thaddée and Avalon streets
These lane reductions are necessary in order to allow for crack sealing work. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
New traffic lights at the intersection of Dieppe Boulevard and Lakeburn and Murray avenues

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe would like to inform motorists that the new traffic lights at the intersection of Dieppe Boulevard and Lakeburn and Murray avenues will be activated on Wednesday, October 20 at around 7 a.m.
The traffic lights are currently flashing yellow for vehicles travelling on Dieppe Boulevard and red for those coming from Lakeburn and Murray avenues.
Although it is not necessary to stop, motorists who face a flashing yellow light must slow down and give way to pedestrians, cyclists...
Participate in the 2022 Budget Deliberations

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe would like to invite residents to the 2022 budget deliberations that will take place in October, November and December.
The deliberations will be broadcast live via the municipality’s YouTube channel (youtube.com/DieppeNB). Simultaneous interpretation will be available.
October 18 at 5.30 p.m. - Budget presentation by external committees
October 25 at 7 p.m. - Presentation of capital budgets
November 15 at 5:30 p.m. - Presentation of operating budgets
November 22 at 7 p.m....
