DIEPPE, NB — Not surprisingly, the latest Statistics Canada census data shows that Dieppe’s population has risen substantially, climbing from 25,384 residents in 2016 to 28 114 residents in 2021, an increase of 10.8 %.
Immigration and interprovincial migration account for much of the growth. For example, CCNB-Dieppe Campus had 89 international students in 2015-2016, or 13.4% of its students, while today, international students account for 31.6% of the student body.

Return of the tree planting program

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is pleased to announce the return of its community tree planting program. This program offers mature trees at a very reasonable cost to residents who do not have trees in front of their homes.
Eligibility:
- The program is geared to owners of single-family residences, duplexes and townhouses.
- One tree per residence, and possibly two for homes located on a street corner.
- The land in front of the residence must be free of trees.
