COVID-19: City of Dieppe recreational facility update

The City wishes to inform residents of programming changes at its recreational facilities following the provincial government’s announcement on December 13.
These changes take effect immediately and will remain in effect until further notice.
Aquatic and Sports Centre Participants must stay at least 2 m apart

Please be advised that there will be a regular Council meeting on Monday, December 13, 2021, at 7 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, which can also be seen and heard on the City’s website. Council members and staff participating remotely will use electronic means of communication. The meeting agenda is available here.
Anyone who attends a city council meeting in person must provide proof of full vaccination or medical exemption from vaccination, as well as a piece of ID.

Winter parking restriction

DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to remind motorists that it is not permitted to park on Dieppe streets between midnight and 7 a.m., from December 1 to March 31. This interdiction is in effect at all times, whether there is snow or not.
Fines could be given to vehicle owners who do not comply.
Please note that vehicles will be towed at the owners’ expense if they affect snow removal efforts.

Adoption of the 2022 Municipal Budget

DIEPPE, NB - Dieppe City Council adopted its $77-million operating budget for 2022 at its public meeting on November 22. Of that amount, $63.1 million will go to the general operating budget and $13.9 million to the water and sewer budget.
Also adopted at the meeting were the capital budgets: $23.9 million for the general capital budget and $5.4 million for the water and sewer capital budget.
