The skate and helmet loan program is back

The City of Dieppe would like to inform residents that its skate and helmet loan program is back for the third year in a row. Skates and helmets can be borrowed free of charge at the Place 1604’s refrigerated skating oval on Fridays from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
The city is still looking for adult skates (sizes 6 to 13). We look after basic refurbishment, skate sharpening and lace replacement if necessary. If you have old skates or helmets that you would like to...

Dieppe to offer new sledge hockey program

DIEPPE, NB — Starting November 13, you can give sledge hockey a try in Dieppe thanks to the Government of New Brunswick and the Government of Canada (Sport Canada) via the Go NB grant.
The program is open to youth 16 years of age or older with a physical disability in a lower limb, as well as any adult who wishes to try the sport.
The sessions will be held on the following Saturdays, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.:

Lane reduction on Champlain Street

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be a lane reduction on Champlain Street (westbound), between Notre-Dame and Collège streets, from Monday, November 1 to Friday, November 5.
This lane reduction is necessary in order to allow for work on the curbs and the sidewalk.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.
It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible during construction.
