Adoption of the 2022 Municipal Budget

DIEPPE, NB - Dieppe City Council adopted its $77-million operating budget for 2022 at its public meeting on November 22. Of that amount, $63.1 million will go to the general operating budget and $13.9 million to the water and sewer budget.
Also adopted at the meeting were the capital budgets: $23.9 million for the general capital budget and $5.4 million for the water and sewer capital budget.

Please be advised that there will be a regular Council meeting on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 7 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, which can also be seen and heard on the City’s website. Council members and staff participating remotely will use electronic means of communication. The meeting agenda is available here.
Anyone who attends a city council meeting in person must provide proof of full vaccination or medical exemption from vaccination, as well as a piece of ID.

The skate and helmet loan program is back

The City of Dieppe would like to inform residents that its skate and helmet loan program is back for the third year in a row. Skates and helmets can be borrowed free of charge at the Place 1604’s refrigerated skating oval on Fridays from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
The city is still looking for adult skates (sizes 6 to 13). We look after basic refurbishment, skate sharpening and lace replacement if necessary. If you have old skates or helmets that you would like to...
