Dieppe invites its residents to take part in its budget deliberations for the year 2024

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to remind residents that its annual budget deliberation process is currently ongoing. Deliberations are being held in Council chambers at City Hall located at 333 Acadie Avenue. Those interested may also listen to the meetings live through our YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/DieppeNB

Boil water order (August 14, 2023)

The boil order was lifted on August 16, 2023
DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that a water main break occurred on Amirault Street and crews are currently on site repairing the water main in question. In order to allow for the repair work, the water service will be temporarily shut off.
There is a boil order issued for all residents from 2135 and 2152, Amirault Street, to city limits, Dover Road, Domaine Dover Estates, Bayview Street and the following streets:

• Freda
Road closure – Gauvin Road (May 10 to 12, 2023)

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Gauvin Road, between Thomas and Ruisseau streets, will be completely closed to traffic from Wednesday, May 10 to Friday, May 12.
This closure is necessary in order to allow for work on the water and sewer system. Detour signs will be in place.
Please note that a section of the sidewalk located in the area will also be closed during the work.

Temporary road closures – Santa Claus Parade

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be temporary road closures on the following streets on Saturday, November 26 between 4 and 8 p.m.
- Champlain Street, from the western city limits to Acadie Avenue
- Paul Street, from Champlain Street to Olivier Street
- Virginia Avenue, only the one-lane section
These road closures are necessary in order to allow for the Santa Claus Parade to take place.

Special Fall Garbage Collection

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that the special fall garbage collection will take place between October 13 and 16.
For households with regular garbage collection on:
- TUESDAY, items must be placed curbside by 4 a.m. on Tuesday, October 13.
- WEDNESDAY, items must be placed curbside by 4 a.m. on Wednesday, October 14.
- THURSDAY, items must be placed curbside by 4 a.m. on Thursday, October 15.
- FRIDAY, items must be placed curbside by 4 a.m. on Friday, October 16.
