Commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Dieppe Raid

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe, in collaboration with the Dieppe Military Veterans Association, will be holding a ceremony on Sunday, August 21, at Place 1604 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Dieppe Raid.
The annual event will begin at 1:30 p.m. with a military parade honouring the Canadian soldiers who died in the raid. A new monument will also be unveiled.

Road closure – Melanson Road (August 10 and 11, 2022)

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Melanson Road, between Dieppe Boulevard and Rouse Street, will be completely closed to traffic on Wednesday, August 10 and Thursday, August 11. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following day.
This closure is necessary in order to allow for asphalt repair work. Detour signs will be in place.
The City regrets any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates your patience and collaboration.

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is pleased to invite residents to the MusiquART venue for National Acadian Day celebrations on August 15 featuring Zachary Richard, Émilie Landry and ABOiTEAU, and La Trappe.

Please be advised that there will be a regular Council meeting on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 6 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, which can also be viewed live on the YouTube channel at the following web address: www.youtube.com/dieppenb

Road closure – Pascal Avenue

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Pascal Avenue, between Meunier and Legresley streets, will be completely closed to traffic on Thursday, July 28 and Friday, July 29. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following day.
This road closure is necessary in order to allow for repair work on the sewer system. Detour signs and flaggers will be in place to direct traffic.
