Please be advised that there will be a regular Council meeting on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 7 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, which can also be viewed live on the YouTube channel at the following web address: www.youtube.com/dieppenb

Open-air cinema returns to Dieppe

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is proud to announce that it is bringing back outdoor movies on a giant inflatable screen this summer. A host of films will be presented throughout the city every Thursday from June 30 to August 25.
“Join us at dusk for an outdoor movie featuring recent releases projected onto a giant screen. Bring a chair, blanket and water bottle, and let us take care of the popcorn,” says Jonathan Desroches, a community officer with the City of Dieppe.

Lane reduction on Melanson Road (June 21 and 22, 2022)

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Melanson Road, between Dieppe Boulevard and Rouse Street, will be reduced to one lane of traffic on Tuesday, June 21 and on Wednesday, June 22.
This lane reduction is necessary in order to allow for some repair work. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
The City regrets any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates your patience and collaboration.
Lane reductions on Acadie Avenue

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be lane reductions on Acadie Avenue, between Alain-Gillette and Normandie streets, from Tuesday, June 21 to Friday, June 24. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following week.
These lane reductions are necessary in order to allow work on the sewer system. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.

Boil Order Lifted

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that the boil water order is lifted for the St-Anselme and Fox Creek zones.
Here are the measures to take when a boil water order has been lifted:
- Cold interior and exterior water faucets: Run tap water for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Hot water faucets: Run tap water for at least 15 minutes for a 40-gallon hot water tank and at least 30 minutes for a 80-gallon hot water tank or larger.
