Lane reduction on Paul Street

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists of a lane reduction on Paul Street, between Sunset and Kennedy streets on Sunday, September 11. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to Sunday, September 18.
This lane reduction is necessary to allow Liberty Utilities to conduct some work on the natural gas system. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
It is to be noted that businesses will remain accessible during construction.

Book of condolences for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is making available to the public a book of condolences for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in the lobby of City Hall located at 333 Acadie Avenue. Interested persons can come and sign the book during business hours, starting at 3 p.m. today until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 16.
City Hall business hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Roadwork – Closure of Lorette Street

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Lorette Street, between Chartersville Road and Airview Street, will be completely closed to traffic starting on Thursday, September 8. The closure of this street will take place for an indefinite period.
This closure is necessary in order to allow for repair work on a culvert. Detour signs will be in place.
The City regrets any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates your patience and collaboration.
Dieppe Celebrates International Day of Older Persons

DIEPPE, NB — In cooperation with the Dieppe seniors’ committee, the City of Dieppe is proud to launch a series of activities surrounding the International Day of Older Persons, which takes place on Saturday, Oct. 1. A lunch and learn session will held on the actual day (Oct. 1). Tickets will be on sale at $10 a piece throughout September and can be purchased at 877.7905.
