Temporary traffic lights - Gauvin/Thomas

Dieppe (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that temporary traffic lights have been installed at the intersection of Gauvin Road and Thomas Street.
Motorists will be asked to respect the flashing traffic lights, on site, a few days prior to activation.
The lights will be activated on Tuesday, May 19 until December 2015.
The City reminds drivers to be careful and respect the pedestrian crossing.

Participatory Budgeting Project

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe invites the public to take part in a participatory budgeting project, a municipal initiative that allows residents to bring forward ideas aimed at improving the community, and that receives funding from the municipality.
“We want our residents to get involved in the municipality’s decision-making process, to propose ideas that we may not have thought of”, says Mayor Yvon Lapierre.

The swimming courses (preschool and junior) will not take place from Saturday, May 16 to Monday, May 18.
Private swim courses for children will be offered on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The cost is $35 for children and th duration of the session is 55 minutes with a private instructor. Register online or at the Centre. A few places still available.
Victoria Day schedule: Monday, May 18; 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (lap swim) and 2 to 4 p.m. (public swim).

Road work - reconstruction of Acadie Avenue / Amirault Street

DIEPPE, N.B. —The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that major reconstruction road work will begin on Acadie Avenue/Amirault Street, between Alain-Gilette Street and Chartersville Road on Monday, May 18, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. from Monday to Friday, until December 2015, except the final layer of asphalt.
