Street closure - Fox Creek Road

DIEPPE, N.B. —The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Fox Creek Road, between Marguerite Street and LeBlanc Road, will be completely closed Thursday, June 25 until Monday, June 29 at 6 a.m., weather permitting. This closure is to allow for the installation of culverts. Detour signs will be in place.
It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible.

The 55+ Games begin this coming Wednesday

DIEPPE, NB — There’s a buzz in Dieppe as the city is preparing to host the New Brunswick 55+ Games that will be taking place from June 24-26.
This is the large-scale provincial event’s 12th bilingual edition, which is held every two years in different cities across the province and continues to grow in popularity. The organizing committee for the Dieppe Games hopes to welcome around 400 participants.

Opening of new splash pad at Rotary St-Anselme Park

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe will officially open the splash pad at the Rotary St-Anselme Park on Saturday, June 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. as part of Recreation and Parks Month.
The official ceremony will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a free family picnic organized by the Caisse Populaire Dieppe-Memramcook and Dieppe Rotary Club. A balloon artist and magician Rémi Boudreau will also be on hand.

Renowned artists set to perform on Fridays

DIEPPE, NB — Live music lovers are invited to come out every Friday starting July 3 through August 21 in Dieppe to catch some of the area’s emerging artists during Tempo Break from 12 a.m. to 1 p.m.
People are invited to attend free concerts on the terrace where Place 1604 restaurants are located, or use the grass area or picnic tables located behind Dieppe City Hall.

Overnight closure - Acadie Avenue and Amirault Street - June 17

DIEPPE, N.B. —The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Acadie Avenue and Amirault Street, between Alain-Gillette Street and Chartersville Road, will be completely closed Wednesday, June 17 starting at 10 p.m. and will be reopened at 6 a.m. Thursday, June 18, weather permitting.This closure is for the reconstruction of this section of the road. Detour signs will be in place.
