Sidewalk installation - Canaan Drive and Dieppe Boulevard

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that sidewalks are going to be installed in a section on Canaan Drive close to Dieppe Boulevard starting Monday, June 15. Work will be approximately one week. It is possible that one lane might be closed intermittently on Canaan Drive.
It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible.
The City regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your patience and co-operation while this work is being done.
Overnight closure - Acadie Avenue and Amirault Street

DIEPPE, N.B. —The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Acadie Avenue and Amirault Street, between Alain-Gillette Street and Chartersville Road, will be completely closed Monday, June 15 starting at 10 p.m. and will be reopened at 6 a.m. the next morning and Tuesday, June 16 starting at 10 p.m. and will be reopened at 6 a.m. the next morning. This closure is to allow for the resconstruction of this section of the road. Detour signs will be in place.

DIEPPE, N.B. —The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Acadie Avenue/Amirault Street, between Alain-Gillette Street and Chartersville Road, will be completely closed Thursday, June 11 starting at 10 p.m. and will be reopened on Friday, June 12 at 6 a.m. This closure is to allow for the installation of culverts. Detour signs will be in place.
It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible during business hours.

Tree planting event - CN EcoConnexions

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe is pleased to announce it has been selected to receive a $25 000 grant from the CN EcoConnexions. This program focuses of supporting urban forestry.
CN EcoConnexions – From the Ground Up promotes community sustainability, through the greening of municipal properties at the national level in partnership with Tree Canada and Communities in Bloom. This program helps municipalities and community groups organize days like today’s event.

Participatory Budgeting Project - looking for budget delegates!

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe is inviting the public to take part in the participatory budgeting project as a budget delegate. Budget delegates are going to decide which ideas are chosen from residents to be presented to the community for their votes. Voting will be taking place later this fall.
The participatory budgeting project is a municipal initiative that allows residents to bring forward ideas aimed at improving the community and receives funding from the municipality.
