Charging stations set up for electric vehicles

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is pleased to announce that it has recently set up three charging stations for electric vehicles.
These three stations have been set up at Place 1604, at the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre and the Arthur-J.-LeBlanc Centre.
“The number of electric vehicles being used in our area is still low. We therefore want to promote and accommodate those opting for this type of vehicle” says Mayor Yvon Lapierre.

DIEPPE, NB – The public is invited to engage actively in a short survey carried out by the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre in order to help improve user experience at the Centre.
“This collection of information gives everyone an opportunity to share their opinions and suggest ways to improve services offered and how to connect with our clientele”, says Nadia Damphousse, Supervisor, Services and Programs, Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre.

Winter parking restriction

DIEPPE, (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to remind motorists that it is not permitted to park on Dieppe streets between midnight and 7 a.m., from December 1st to March 31st. This prohibition is in effect at all times, whether there is snow or not.
Fines could be given to vehicle owners who do not comply.
Please note that vehicles will be towed at the owners’ expense if they affect snow removal efforts during storms.

Lane reduction and street closure

DIEPPE, (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Champlain Street, between Notre Dame Street and Bras d’Or Avenue, will be reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction, and that Collège Street will be completely closed from Wednesday, November 9 to Thursday, November 10 for street paving.
This work may cause delays. Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.

Roadwork – Gauvin and Dover roads, and Pascal Avenue

DIEPPE, (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that crack sealing work will take place on the following streets from Wednesday, November 9 to Friday, November 11, weather permitting.
-Gauvin Road: between LaFrance Street and Pascal Avenue. This section will be reduced to one lane of traffic. Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic.
