Lane reduction - Champlain Street

DIEPPE, (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Champlain Street, between Notre-Dame Street and Bras-d’Or Avenue, will be reduced to one lane of traffic from Sunday, November 6 to Tuesday, November 8. Work will take place weather permitting.
This lane reduction is necessary to allow for asphalt paving and flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic.
Please note that businesses will remain accessible during construction.

Road closure - Collège Street

DIEPPE, (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Collège Street, between Champlain and Cousteau Streets, will be completely closed to traffic from Sunday, November 6 to Tuesday, November 8, weather permitting. This closure is necessary to allow for asphalt paving.
Detour signs will be in place.
It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible during construction.

Dieppe celebrates kids!

DIEPPE, NB — For the first time, the City of Dieppe will be hosting an activity as part of Children’s Day on Sunday, November 20 at the Rotary St-Anselme Park.
For the occasion, Dietitians in the Kitchen invites kids aged 5-12 to take part in a free cooking workshop from 10-11:30 a.m. or 1:30-3 p.m. Parents are invited to a tasting at the end of each session. To register, contact Julie at info@dietitiansinthekitchen.com or 872.4958.

Ceremony honoring veterans

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe, in collaboration with the Dieppe Military Veterans Association, will be holding a ceremony on Friday, November 11 at École Anna-Malenfant to commemorate Remembrance Day.
The parade, made up of veterans, cadets and members of the RCMP, will form up around 10:30 a.m. and will make its way indoors for the ceremony that commemorates the signing of the Armistice, formalizing the end of World War I in 1918.
A reception will follow at the Dieppe Golden Age Club.
