Get Ready for Tricycle Rides in Dieppe

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe, alongside representatives of the main sponsor, Assumption Life, and various community stakeholders, today launched the tricycle rides for seniors program.
One of six winning projects of the second edition of the Participatory Budgeting Project, the “Un vélo, une ville” program aims to provide leisure outings or trips to run errands in order to prevent social isolation of seniors.
Steered by students from Dieppe, the tricycle offers free rides to the city’s seniors.

Road closure – Grégoire Street

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Grégoire Street, between Vanier and Isabelle streets, will be completely closed to traffic on Monday, June 17 and Tuesday, June 18, weather permitting.
This closure is necessary in order to allow for work on the rain water system. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
The City regrets any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates your patience and collaboration.
Dieppe Celebrates Canada Day in Grand Style at Place 1604!

Place 1604 will host Canada Day celebrations on July 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with outdoor family activities, including the opening of the ConneXion Zone, the brand new summer urban development located on Gauvin Road.
There will be interactive workshops focusing on circus arts, sports and Indigenous culture, among other things. The featured band will be Countryside, and a free BBQ will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Intermittent Closures – Chartersville Road

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Chartersville Road, between Bahama and Thomas streets, will be intermittently closed to traffic from Monday, June 17 to Friday, June 21.
These closures are necessary in order to safely carry out some road work. Detours signs will be in place.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.
It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible during construction.
