Plan your transportation during the August 15 celebrations

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise its residents and the general population travelling downtown to plan and limit car travel as much as possible during the August 15 festivities.
Street closures
The following streets will be closed between 5 and 7 p.m. to allow for the passage of the tintamarre route.

Dog Swim in the Pool at the Aquatic Centre

The Aquatic Centre will offer for the first time a swim for dogs on Sunday, August 18 in preparation for its five-week closure where the recreational pool will be entirely renovated, the Centre wanted to take this opportunity to offer a special activity to the community by letting the dogs play in the water. The membrane replacement of the recreational pool allows for this activity which will be offered only once to dog owners.

Discolouration of water due to high water consumption-Possibility of higher than normal turbidity

MONCTON – The municipalities of Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview have been experiencing water discolouration due to higher than normal water consumption. We have been monitoring water quality extensively during this period of high flows and will continue to do so.
The discolouration of water is caused by a manganese build-up on large transmission lines which is being dislodged by the higher flows and this discolouration is not associated with health effects. We...
