Christmas tree pickup

DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that the Christmas tree pickup (natural trees only) for households with regular weekly garbage collection on:
- TUESDAY, will be held on Tuesday, January 8
- WEDNESDAY, will be held on Wednesday, January 9
- FRIDAY, will be held on Friday, January 11
Trees must not be frozen in the snow bank and be free of tinsel and ornaments.
Trees can be placed curbside a few days before the scheduled date, but those placed after 4 a.m. on the morning of your usual...

Adoption of 2019 municipal budget

DIEPPE, N.B. – Dieppe City Council adopted its 2019 operating budgets totalling $69.4 million during its regular public meeting held on December 10. Of this amount, $56.5 million will go toward the general operating budget while $12.9 million will go toward the water and sewer budget.
Capital spending budgets were also passed at the meeting: $11.7 million for the general capital budget and $1.2 million for the water and sewer capital budget.

Winter parking restriction

DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to remind motorists that it is not permitted to park on Dieppe streets between midnight and 7 a.m., from December 1 to March 31. This interdiction is in effect at all times, whether there is snow or not.
Fines could be given to vehicle owners who do not comply.
Please note that vehicles will be towed at the owners’ expense if they affect snow removal efforts.
