Dieppe pays tribute to its volunteers

Last night, the City of Dieppe held its annual “Volunteer Recognition Night” at the Arts and Culture Centre to thank 28 volunteers who work in various community organizations. The recipients were honoured with a VIP cocktail during which they had the opportunity to mingle and talk with each other and to meet political figures from the region. The City of Dieppe invites the public to join the mayor and council on Monday, April 15, for the official announcement of the city’s Age-Friendly Community designation.

There will be a presentation on the objectives and advantages of this designation at a standing committee meeting starting at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall council chambers. DIEPPE, NB — The program “A tree for life,” aimed at making Dieppe’s landscape greener and highlighting the birth of a child, is back for a fourth consecutive year.
