Upcoming Downtown Improvement Project

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe will soon be investing $1.3 million to revitalize a major downtown parking lot located in the Gauvin block, which is bordered by Champlain Street, Gauvin Road, Marché Street and Collège Street. Part of the parking lot, which currently has a gravel surface, will be paved over, and sidewalks and lighting will be added. Please be advised that there will be a regular Council meeting on Monday, June 28, 2021, at 7 p.m., which can only be seen and heard on the City’s website due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lane reduction on Gauvin Road

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be a lane reduction on Gauvin Road, between Pascal Avenue and Ruisseau Street, from Tuesday, June 15 to Friday, June 18.
This lane reduction is necessary in order to allow for work on the water and sewer system. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.

Acadie Avenue Closure – Phase 1 of 2

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Acadie Avenue, between Ste-Thérèse and Thibodeau streets, will be completely closed to traffic from Thursday, June 10 into July. Details on phase 2 to come.
This closure is necessary in order to allow for reconstruction work that will take place until October. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.
