Lane reductions on Champlain Street

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be lane reductions on Champlain Street, between Acadie Avenue and Wheeler Boulevard (Moncton), from Monday, May 10 to Friday, May 14.
These lane reductions are necessary in order to allow for asphalt repair work.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.
It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible during construction.

Roadwork – Reconstruction of Bourque Road

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that reconstruction work will begin on Monday, May 3 on Bourque Road, between Melanson and Chartersville Road, and will continue until November.
During the construction period, Bourque Road will be closed to traffic, but will remain accessible to residents of this street. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.

Dandelion madness

DIEPPE, NB — In May, City of Dieppe residents are asked not to mow their lawn or to at least leave part of their lawn unmowed. The idea behind this movement, which is starting to gain momentum in Canada, is to help pollinating insects, including butterflies and bees. Food is scarce for these insects in May and dandelions are one of the few flowers that can provide them with nectar.

Dieppe Launches Pilot Project for On-Demand Transit

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe is excited to offer residents a free on-demand transit service on weekends, powered by Blaise Transit. As of June 26, Dieppe’s transit system will switch entirely to on-demand service on weekends, replacing routes 93, 94 and 95.

Cousteau Street closure

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Cousteau Street, between Collège and Notre-Dame streets, will be closed to traffic from Monday, April 26 to Thursday, April 29.
Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic. This closure is necessary to allow for work on the water and sewer system.
