Lane reductions on Champlain Street

DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Champlain Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction, between Lorette Street and Barnes Street, on Wednesday September 4 and Thursday September 5, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., to install two new water services.
The City regrets any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your patience and co-operation while this work is being done.

GREATER MONCTON – The City of Moncton, the City of Dieppe and the Town of Riverview, in conjunction with the Province of New Brunswick, are moving forward with the Destination2040 Regional Sustainable Transportation Master Plan and will be hosting a fun and engaging event on September 6, 2013 in all three communities to encourage people to attend the study’s first public meeting on September 17.

Closure of du Moulin Street

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that du Moulin Street will be closed to traffic, between Melanson Street and des Aubes Street, from Tuesday September 3 to Friday September 13, due to the installation of new municipal services.
All access to du Moulin Street, des Aubes Street and Tilmon Crescent shall be done via Fox Creek Road.

Harvest Festival to feature a Battle of the Grills

DIEPPE, N.B. — Dieppe’s 5th Annual Harvest Festival offers a tasty array of events from September 13 to 15. This year, the Festival will present many new features that are sure to please lovers of good food.
On Friday, September 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dieppe Arts and Culture Centre (DACC), the public is invited to a tasting of appetizers by Chef Michel Savoie of the Tide & Boar. The food will be accompanied by regional wines and spirits presented by sommelier Marc Paimpec. Tickets are available...
Calling all young hockey players

DIEPPE, N.B. — The 4th Annual Three-on-Three Street Hockey Tournament for youth aged 7 to 18 years is happening again in Dieppe.
On Saturday, September 14, the parking lot of Dieppe Youth House will be transformed into a ball hockey rink. All teams will play a minimum of three refereed games. Participation prizes will also be awarded. The categories are: ages 7 to 9, ages 10 to 12, ages 13 to 15, and ages 16 to 18.
