Settlement reached on exterior commercial signage issue

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe reached a settlement today in provincial court with Pattison Outdoor and CBS Outdoor regarding exterior commercial signage. The companies pled guilty to the 41 charges against them. In exchange, the City of Dieppe consented to a joint request that the court impose the minimum $140 fine per charge.
By pleading guilty to all charges laid against them, the companies have ended their constitutional challenge.

Taxi Chit Program for Codiac Transpo customers

DIEPPE (NB)– The City of Moncton, City of Dieppe and the Town of Riverview have come together to provide a Taxi Chit Program for Codiac Transpo customers. Each municipality will be offering a limited number of taxi chits/coupons each week for their respective residents who rely on public transit to get around the tri-community.
