Work on Champlain Street

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that road work will take place on Champlain Street between Route 15 and Acadie Avenue between Monday, June 11, and Friday, June, 15. One lane of Champlain Street will be closed intermittently.
As well, on Monday, June 11, Champlain Street will be reduced to one lane in the easterly direction between Ste-Croix Street and Harold Street between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Motorists will need to detour from Ste-Croix Street to Virginia Avenue.

Work on Melanson Road

DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that reconstruction work will take place on Melanson Road, between Dieppe Boulevard and the city limits, starting on Monday, June 4 until Friday, July 6.

Work on Acadie Avenue

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that the southbound lane of Acadie Avenue between Ste-Thérèse Street and Champlain Street will be closed between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Monday, June 4.
Traffic will be detoured onto Ste-Thérèse Street through Notre-Dame Street.

Dieppe seeks residents' input on new cultural policy

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe is seeking residents interested in being part of a focus group concerning the development of a cultural policy for the city.
The first session will take place on Wednesday, June 20, and will be followed by three more. The sessions will be led by Marc Chouinard, general manager of the Capitol Theatre.

Scholarship awarded

DIEPPE, N.B. — To mark Disability Awareness Week, the City of Dieppe awarded its first scholarship intended for a Dieppe resident living with a disability.
The $1,000 scholarship was presented to Simon Richard on May 26. Mr. Richard is a young Dieppe resident living with aniridia, a condition that results in a significant reduction in his vision. He will graduate from Dieppe’s École Mathieu-Martin in June and is registered in the business administration program (concentration in accounting) at the...
