DIEPPE, N.B. — Our four-legged friends and their masters are invited to the second Dog Day to be held on Sunday, October 5 at Rotary St-Anselme Park in Dieppe.
“Come talk to professional experts, visit the kiosks, have fun on a group walk or just enjoy socializing with your pet” said Nicole Melanson, coordinator in the City of Dieppe’s Building inspection and Law Enforcement Division. “Since last year was a huge success, we expect a big crowd this year too!”

Intersection closed - Champlain Street/Dieppe Boulevard

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that the intersection of Champlain Street and Dieppe Boulevard will be closed intermittently because of asphalt work on Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20, weather permitting.
This work is to proceed with the paving of the first layer of asphalt. The remainder of the road construction work on Champlain Street and Dieppe Boulevard will continue until the end of October and will include the final layer of asphalt and markings.

DIEPPE, N.B. — Sunday, September 21, is the fifth anniversary of the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre. To celebrate this special occasion, the Centre is opening its pools for only $5 per family from 3 p.m. to 4:55 p.m. Come swim and eat cake with staff and friends of the Centre.

Cycling for a good cause in Dieppe

DIEPPE, N.B. - Twenty-nine City of Dieppe employees will ride a giant bicycle to raise funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation on Wednesday, September 17, at 9 a.m.
The final amount raised by the employees will be announced at the starting point of the race. The route begins at Du Marché Street, then proceeds down Champlain Street and finishes at Tim Horton’s on Paul Street. Police and firefighters will escort the giant bicycle.

Jeanette Street closed to traffic

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Jeanette Street will be closed to traffic, between Gauvin Road and Napoléon Street, Wednesday, September 10th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., for the installation of new municipal lateral services, weather permitting. A detour will be in place via Napoléon Street and Surette Street.
