Spaces available for swimming courses and aquatic activities

DIEPPE, N.B. — Registrations for swimming courses for youth aged 18 months to 13 years, as well as for aquatic activities, will take place until February 4 at the Dieppe Aquatic and Sports Centre.
Courses for youth begin on January 24 for 10 weeks. The cost of the program is $55 for the preschool course and $80 for junior.

DIEPPE, N.B. — Dieppe will be abuzz from January 30 to February 1 during the Dieppe Friendship Carnival with more than 50 activities in 13 different locations around the city.

DIEPPE, N.B. — Following the success its first year in 2014, Fun on Ice returns in 2015 with free outdoor concerts from January 9 to February 27.
“Place 1604 is the place to be on Fridays for Fun on Ice beginning at 6:30 p.m.,” said Gabrielle Maillet, Community Officer for Seniors and Family with the City of Dieppe. “Enjoy the free outdoor skating rink, bonfires, music and hot chocolate!”

New City of Dieppe firefighters receive diplomas

DIEPPE, N.B. — The Dieppe Fire Department officially presented 14 diplomas during a recent graduation ceremony to firefighters who now work in the municipality.
In addition to traditional firefighter training, the firefighters had to pass an aggressive 18-week program specific to the local area. This was done under the supervision of Captain Jeff Pyke of the City of Dieppe Fire Department.
