Closure of Gauvin Road

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Gauvin Road, between Bras D’Or Avenue and Thomas Street, will be closed to traffic until the end of September because of a watermain replacement project and road reconstruction.

The detour will take place via Bras D’Or Avenue, Champlain Street and Pascal Avenue.

Please note that all businesses and Lou McNarin School on Gauvin Road will remain accessible.

DIEPPE, N.B. — The 55+ Corner at Rotary St-Anselme Park is a games area that includes washer toss, shuffleboard, horseshoes and petanque.

“Even if the name may suggest that the area is only for those aged 55 and older, it’s actually open to everyone,” said Gabrielle Maillet, Community Officer with the City of Dieppe. “There’s also a shelter in the area where people can organize social get-togethers or enjoy a family picnic.”

Lane reduction on Champlain Street/Industrial Street

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Champlain Street between Industrial Street and Dawson Street will be restricted to one eastbound lane (toward airport) and closed to westbound traffic (toward Moncton) on Tuesday, June 3rd and Wednesday, June 4th for the installation of a new storm sewer manhole, weather permitting.
