Dieppe starts begins 2013 on a high note

DIEPPE, N.B. — With the value of building permits for January and February totalling $7,121,103, the City of Dieppe experienced a strong start to 2013. The commercial sector saw 20 permits issued, representing $6,701,683, while the residential sector accounted for 12 permits with a total value of $419,420.
These investments represent the second-best start to a year (January and February) in the past 16 years.

Closure of one lane on Acadie Avenue

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise the motoring public that one lane is partially closed to through traffic (south bound towards Memramcook), between Chartersville Road and du Marché Street, due to localized flooding.
The City regrets any inconvenience this situation may cause and thanks the public for its patience and collaboration.

Dieppe Easter Eggstravaganza

DIEPPE, N.B. — Children are invited again this year to the Easter Eggstravaganza. This year, the event takes place for the first time at Rotary St-Anselme Park on Sunday, March 24, from 1-3 p.m.
A number of activities will be offered, including an Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. followed by a visit from the Easter Bunny, crafts, face painting, a snack and participation prize.

Dieppe seeks residents' input on new cultural policy

Acommittee made up of Dieppe residents and professional artists from the area has been formed to develop a draft cultural policy for the City of Dieppe.
The cultural policy seeks to be a tool that will guide the municipality’s role as a body that brings together various cultural stakeholders.
Before the policy is official adopted by council, we want to receive residents’ comments and suggestions regarding the four main themes and their strategies in order to include them in the policy. Here is a general...
