Important training for firefighters

DIEPPE, NB — A few of Dieppe’s firefighters will be taking part, this weekend in Miramichi, in New Brunswick’s largest training session, which is hosted by the New Brunswick Association of Fire Chiefs in collaboration with NBCC and the Office of the Fire Marshal.

DIEPPE (NB) — A ceremony to commemorate the Battle of Britain and the efforts of the free air forces during the Second World War will be held on Sunday, September 13, at Place 1604 beginning at 1:30 p.m.

DIEPPE, N.B. — Our four-legged friends and their masters are invited to the third Dog Day to be held on Sunday, September 20 at Rotary St-Anselme Park in Dieppe.
“Come talk to professional experts, visit the kiosks, have fun on a group walk or just enjoy socializing with your pet” said Nicole Melanson, coordinator in the City of Dieppe’s Building inspection and Law Enforcement Division.

Overnight closure - Acadie Avenue and Amirault Street

DIEPPE, N.B. —The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Acadie Avenue and Amirault Street, from Irving to Guardian Drug, will be completely closed to through traffic on Monday, September 7, Tuesday, September 8, Wednesday, September 9, Thursday, September 10 and Friday, September 11, from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m., weather permitting, for reconstruction of this section of the road. DIEPPE, N.B. — Back to school means higher road traffic in the morning and on the way back home. Every year in September, the same thing happens: traffic suddenly flows less smoothly. There is a very simple explanation for this: buses are back out on the roads, parents drive their children to school and people return to work after a few weeks of vacation.
