Several additions to the August 15th celebrations in Dieppe

DIEPPE, NB — In addition to the events already planned for Acadian Day, the City of Dieppe will be hosting a family celebration at the Rotary St-Anselme Park’s splash pad from 2-6 p.m. Bouncy castles, face painting and a performance by Félix Belliveau are also planned.
The “tintamare” on foot is still scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Rotary St-Anselme Park and will make its way to the Arthur-J.-LeBlanc Centre.

Road work - Champlain and Notre-Dame Streets

DIEPPE, (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that road work will take place at the intersection of Champlain and Notre-Dame Streets on Thursday, July 28, weather permitting.
During the construction, the southbound lane on Notre-Dame Street will be closed.
Detour signs will be in place.
It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible during construction.
The City regrets any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates your patience and collaboration.
Dieppe celebrates New Brunswick Day

DIEPPE, N.B. — The City of Dieppe invites the public to Rotary St-Anselme Park for New Brunswick Day celebrations on Monday, August 1.
On the agenda: official ceremony at 11 a.m. followed by a free community BBQ until 1 p.m. An array of games are in store for the whole family, including shuffleboard, washers, lawn bowling and horseshoe at the 55+ Corner as well as the splash pad.

Road work - micro-surfacing

DIEPPE, (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that the following streets will be reduced to one lane of traffic from Wednesday, July 27 to Friday, July 29 for micro-surfacing work, weather permitting.
- Kennedy Street: between Paul Street and Acadie Avenue
- Régis Street: between Paul Street and Acadie Avenue
- Acadie Avenue: between Gould and Kennedy Streets
- Acadie Avenue: between Champlain and Normandie Streets

Activities and performances offered as part of the Dieppe Kite International Festival

DIEPPE, NB — Numerous kite flyers will flock from throughout the world to attend the 12th edition of the Dieppe Kite International Festival from August 10-14 at Dover Park.
There will be several musical performances for all tastes, a kids’ zone with bouncy castles, candy showers and a creation tent that draws more than 3,000 children each year. Kite demonstrations, Rokkaku fighting, stunt kites and giant kites will also be featured.
