Dieppe celebrating National Public Works Week on social media

DIEPPE (NB) — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that the National Public Works Week activities scheduled for May 17 to 23 have been cancelled due to COVID-19.
In order to stay connected and to celebrate the essential work carried out by all our community service employees, especially during this difficult period, residents are invited to the Connected Leisure Activities Facebook group on Wednesday, May 20 to download a family activity.

Special Spring Garbage Collection

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that the special spring garbage collection will take place between May 19 and 22. In light of the current situation, we are anticipating a higher volume than usual of items to be placed curbside for pickup. To avoid overloading the collection system, we are consequently asking residents to hold on to items that they do not absolutely need to dispose of.
For households with regular garbage collection on:
- TUESDAY, items must be placed curbside by 4 a.m....
Lane reduction on Acadie Avenue

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be a lane reduction on Acadie Avenue, between Virginia Avenue and Alain-Gillette Street, on Tuesday, May 5. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the next day.
Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic. This lane reduction is necessary to allow for the installation of a new watermain.
The City regrets any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates your patience and collaboration.
Take part in the Virtual Wellness Challenge!

The City of Dieppe, through its Connected Leisure Activities Facebook group, invites residents to take part in its upcoming seven-day wellness challenge. Hosted by Fred and Renelle of BoFM radio, this challenge runs from May 4 to 10.
Each day, your hosts will present a video in which they challenge you to do something to promote your wellness, whether a physical activity, reading or even drinking a target amount of water.
People will be invited to post photos of themselves or their families either...
Lane reduction on Amirault Street

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Amirault Street, in front of Fox Creek Road, will be reduced to one lane southbound (toward Memramcook) on Friday, May 1. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
This lane reduction is necessary to allow for work on curbs and gutters. In the case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following day.
