Gradual reopening of playgrounds

Playgrounds across the municipality are starting to open as of today (Friday, June 5), including the Rotary St-Anselme park. The opening will be gradual until Wednesday, June 10 as we install signs and remove the yellow caution tape. We greatly appreciate the patience and cooperation of residents while we carry out this work.
We would like to remind residents that they must follow all public health guidelines, including physical distancing, when using the play structures. Use is at your own risk and...
Roadwork – Reconstruction of Melanson Road

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that reconstruction work will begin on Monday, June 8 on Melanson Road, between the roundabout on Dieppe Boulevard and civic number 1150, and will continue until October.
During the construction period, only local traffic will be permitted on this portion of Melanson Road. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.

Please be advised that there will be a regular Council meeting on Monday, June 8th, 2020, at 7 p.m., which can only be seen and heard on the City’s website due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Council members participating remotely will use electronic means of communication. The agenda is available here.
Closure of a section of the Riverfront Trail

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise its residents that the Riverfront Trail, between Pointe-aux-Renards Street and Dover Road, will be completely closed on Friday, June 5. This closure is necessary in order to allow for soil sampling work.

Melanson Road closure at Rouse Street

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Melanson Road, at Rouse Street (including Rouse Street between Melanson Road and Richard Street), will be closed to traffic on Monday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 2.
Detour signs will be in place. This closure is necessary to allow for the installation of a new watermain. In case of inclement weather, the work will take place the next day.
