Remembrance Day commemoration in Dieppe

The City of Dieppe, in collaboration with the Dieppe Military Veterans Association, will be holding a ceremony on Monday, November 11 at École Mathieu-Martin (511 Champlain Street) to commemorate Remembrance Day.
The parade, made up of veterans, cadets and members of the RCMP, will form up at 10:30 a.m. and will make its way indoors for the ceremony that commemorates the signing of the Armistice, formalizing the end of World War I in 1918.
A reception will follow at the Dieppe Golden Age Club.
Collection of used skates and helmets

The City of Dieppe is looking for used skates and protective helmets to lend during its winter activities at Place 1604. Do you have old skates or helmets that you would like to get rid of? Give them a second life by bringing them to one of the following five facilities where you can put them in a bin for this purpose.
- City Hall
- Aquatic and Sports Centre
- Dieppe Public Library
- Arthur-J.-LeBlanc Centre
- Centenaire Arena
They can be used for beginner skating or to help others who do not have equipment....

Please be advised that there will be a regular Council meeting on Monday, October 28, 2019, at 7 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, which can also be seen and heard on the City’s website. The agenda is available here.
Closure - Dolbeau Trail

Please note that the Dolbeau Trail, between Thomas and Ruisseau streets, is closed for an indefinite period. This closure is necessary to make repairs to a bridge located within the area.

DIEPPE, NB — On September 12, the City of Dieppe filed an application for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada. Dieppe requests permission to appeal the judgment of the New Brunswick Court of Appeal rendered on June 13, 2019, in the case against Noron Inc., the owner of a prefabricated mini-home park.
