DIEPPE, NB – As of January 1, 2023, the LSD of Greater Lakeburn and part of the LSD of Scoudouc is now part of the City of Dieppe, as a result of the provincial government’s local governance reform.

Please be advised that there will be a regular Council meeting on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 7 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, which can also be viewed live on the Youtube channel at the following web address: youtube.com/dieppenb.

Details of the memorial ceremony in honour of Captain Rheal Leger

DIEPPE, NB – The City of Dieppe would like to advise residents that the memorial ceremony for Captain Rheal Leger will be held at the CCNB Dieppe campus on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 2 p.m.
Attendees are asked to arrive by 1:30 p.m. as the honour guard and entrance procession will begin outside at 1:45 p.m. The public is welcome to attend in person or watch the ceremony on our YouTube channel: youtube.com/dieppenb

Dieppe Fire Department Mourns Death of One of its Own

DIEPPE, NB — It is with great sadness that we announce the death of a member of the Dieppe Fire Department, Captain Rheal Leger, on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
Captain Leger passed away from a work-related illness at the age of 57, after serving the Dieppe community for 39 years. He began his career as a volunteer firefighter in 1984, earned a permanent position as a firefighter and emergency medical technician in 1987, and was promoted to Captain in 2014.
