Ceremony to commemorate Dieppe Raid

DIEPPE, N.B. – The Dieppe War Veterans Association and the City of Dieppe are hosting a ceremony to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of the Dieppe Raid on Sunday, August 16, at Place 1604.
The ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. in front of the veterans’ monument with a parade of veterans and military personnel, members of the RCMP, as well as cadets. Following the ceremony, a reception will be held at the Club d’âge d’or de Dieppe, 445 Acadie Avenue.

DIEPPE, N.B. —The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that Acadie Avenue/Amirault Street, from Irving to Guardian Drug, will be completely closed to through traffic on Monday, August 10, Tuesday, August 11, Wednesday, August 12, Thursday, August 13 and Friday, August 14, from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m., weather permitting, for reconstruction of this section of the road. Fun festivities for National Acadian Day in Dieppe

DIEPPE, N.B. — The Acadian flag along with Acadie’s colours will be featured on August 15 in Dieppe as part of a fun-filled day hosted by the municipality.
The day will kick off with activities at the CCNB-Dieppe starting at 11 a.m. with a community BBQ, some face painting, a balloon artist and music by Denis Leger who will sing popular Acadian songs. He will prepare the crowd who will be taking part in the Tintamarre, setting off on foot at noon and making its way towards Place 1604.

DIEPPE, NB — Tickle your taste buds! The Dieppe Harvest Festival has a delightful program in store for lovers of good food from September 10-13.
The festival kicks off Thursday, September 10 with the opening of an exhibit entitled Maritima, showcasing art and nature type sculptural ephemeral installations created by artist André Lapointe from 5-7 p.m. at the Dieppe Arts and Culture Centre (DACC).
