Battle of Britain commemorated in Dieppe

In collaboration with the Veterans' Association, the City of Dieppe is organizing a ceremony commemorating the Battle of Britain and air force efforts during the Second World War. The event will be held at J-. Laurie Cormier Park on Sunday, September 16, and will begin with a military parade at 1:30 p.m. followed by a reception at the Dieppe Golden Age Club.

Lane reduction on Amirault Street

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that there will be a lane reduction on Amirault Street, between Frédéric Street and Selick Lane, on Wednesday, August 15. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following day.
This lane reduction is necessary to allow for asphalt work at the intersection of Lavoie and Amirault streets.

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that work will be carried out at the roundabouts on Dieppe Boulevard. The work is scheduled to start on Wednesday, August 15, weather permitting and will continue until the end of August.
During this construction project, both roundabouts will be closed to traffic and detour signs will be in place.
Motorists are recommended to plan an alternative route for their travels during the construction period.

Residents of Greater Moncton and surrounding communities are invited to express their sympathy to the families of Cst. Sara Mae Helen Burns and Cst. L. Robb Costello, the two Fredericton Police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty on August 10, 2018.
A book of condolences will be available in the City/Town Halls of Moncton, Dieppe and Riverview on alternating days.
