Dieppe City Council is pleased to invite residents to its annual holiday celebration at City Hall from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 17, with Mayor Lapierre, Santa Claus, Féeli Tout and City councillors in attendance.
The activity, geared to young and old alike, will feature cookies, hot chocolate and a warm, festive atmosphere. Storytelling fairy Féeli Tout will read from one of her popular books at 3 p.m.
Cell phones or cameras are a must for those who wish to take pictures with Santa...
Winning snowplow names unveiled!

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe launched a contest in October to name five of its snowplows. Residents responded in large numbers, making the selection committee’s task difficult.
Here are the winning names, which will be displayed on both sides of their corresponding snowplows during the winter:
- Reine des neiges
- Grégoire la gratte
- Passe-partout
- Plowy McPlowface
- Welipuk
- Rouse (name chosen by the employees of the Operations Department)
The lucky authors of the winning names will each receive a $50 VISA...
